Tapien® is a trade mark used for a fined leaved series of Verbenas known for their spreading habit which also have good cold and heat tolerance and mildew resistance. Tapien makes an excellent ground cover plant and is constantly in bloom and its spread can act as a good weed suppressant. Blooms are compact.
